What is dogging?

So how do I find a dogging meet?

Everything is usually done through the chat room, forum or direct messaging to other members on the site. You can look for an ideal location in your area, then search out other members nearby and organise your own meeting or chat to people already organising one and see if you can get an invite! You can even just find out where one is going on and turn up. Check out our list of locations for meeting places in your area.

Can I get into trouble having sex in public places?

Only if you 'offend public decency' by dogging in such places whereby the public are likely to happen upon you in the course of their enjoyment of a public place. In other words, using the superstore car park when it's still open or the country park when people are still out walking their dogs is asking for trouble! From a legal viewpont, the subject is a bit sketchy! Just make sure you are aware of the area and you chose sensible places and times.

Could I be at risk of danger?

There are always risks risks involved in any activity where you are meeting strangers, so always try to make sure you go to an organised dogging session or that you communicate with others to sound out the location. If you decide to go to a meet on your own with another member, at a secluded spot, you can never be sure of who you are meeting! Take all the precautions you can, there is never a need to place yourself in a compromising situation if you are careful. The other danger is of course catching a sexually transmitted disease, so always be prepared! Again, there is no reason for you to EVER pich up one of these if you are diligent!

Do I need a car?

Although many of the locations tend to be in areas that really require a car to access them, it's not unusual to see 'watchers' who have arrived by motor bike or even bus and a short walk. Try and get someone ellse interested who has got a car, then you have additional safety AND a lift!

You need to be sure your partner would appreciate being asked to join in with this sort of activity as in effect, she/he would be sharing you with other women/men and you, her/him. Sometimes, in areas that have proven popular dogging spots, there have been complaints about noise, excessive late night traffic, mess left by irresponsible doggers resulting in the council making efforts to discourage doggers from using that particular area.
